2017 Split Voting Statistics

A voter "splits" their votes when they cast their electorate vote for a candidate who does not represent the party for which they cast their party vote.
At the 2017 General Election 27.33% of voters split their vote compared to 31.64% in 2014.

The summary tables and electorate by electorate detail tables below show how the voters who voted for each registered political party contesting the party vote allocated their electorate candidate vote.
